West Gate Bank was chartered in 1968 at 1204 West O Street in Lincoln, Nebraska and currently has eight branches serving the entire Lincoln community (see Locations).

West Gate Bank is a locally owned community bank and has been owned by Carl Sjulin and his family since 1980. Carl Sjulin is President and CEO of West Gate Bank and Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Mark Hansen is Executive Vice-President and Senior Loan Officer of the bank and Vice-Chairman of the Board. The remaining members of the Board of Directors are as follows:
