West Gate Bank's Overdraft Privilege (ODP) is designed to help you avoid high charges from merchants for returned checks and avoid the embarrassment and inconvenience of denied purchases and dishonored checks.

Forgotten to record a check? A purchase? A deposit? An ATM withdrawal?
Had a transaction denied or turned down at the checkout?
Experienced the embarrassment and expense of a returned check?

And inadvertently overdrawn your checking account? West Gate Bank's Overdraft Privilege can help you.

Rather than automatically returning, unpaid, all insufficient funds items (checks, etc.) that you may have, we will consider, without obligation on our part, payment of your reasonable overdrafts up to your assigned ODP limit.

The ODP limit for personal accounts is $800
The ODP limit for business accounts is $1500

Payment of your occasional and inadvertent overdrafts up to your assigned limit will normally be considered. These limits include our customary fees listed in the Overdraft Privilege Policy. These fees will be added to any outstanding overdrafts you may have and will be applied against your ODP limit.

You do not have to apply for this service. If you do not use ODP, it costs you nothing. "Use" means you initiate insufficient funds transactions.
